The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) BCOS Chapel has expressed its admiration for Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, following the announcement of Mr. Peter Àjàyí as the General Manager of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.
In a press release issued by chairperson of the chapel, Dupe Fehintola, the NUJ praised the Governor for selecting Mr. Àjàyí, citing his impeccable track record and extensive service history.
The appointment, coming just days before his scheduled retirement from Oyo state’s public service, was described as the perfect culmination of Mr. Àjàyí’s commitment to BCOS, where he served in roles such as commercial officer, BCOS Lagos Office representative, and Director of commercial services.
The NUJ also lauded Mr. Àjàyí’s innovative approach and contribution to the organization’s financial growth, and the establishment of a culture of excellence in management.
As Mr. Àjàyí continues to lead BCOS and approaches the end of his illustrious career, the BCOS NUJ wished him continued success and fulfillment in his endeavors.
