JUST IN: President Tinubu appoints New DG/CEO of NIMC

The president has appointed Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote as the new Director-General/CEO of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

This was made known in a statement by the Special Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday.

According to Ajuri, “President Bola Tinubu has instructed the initiation of a 90-day pre-retirement leave for the current Director-General /CEO of NIMC, Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, starting from August 24,2023.

“This move will lead to his official retirement from service on November 24,2023.

“President Tinubu has granted approval for the appointment of Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub to take up the position of Director/CEO at the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps (DTAC).

” This decision follows the conclusion of the term of the former DTAC Director/CEO, Dr. Pius Osunyikanmi.

“The changes in leadership roles, as mentioned,will be implemented immediately.”
