The kebbi state commissioner of police, Mr Titus Musa,on Thursday decorated one hundred and fifty eight police officers from the ranks of inspectors to superitendents of police at the state headquarters in Birnin kebbi.
The Command image maker, Sp Nafiu Abubakar, made a statement that the decoration was in line with the police service commission recommendations to encourage officers who differentiate themselves in service and qualifications wise.
Cp Musa,adviced the newly decorated officers to be up and doing in their new realm of assignment and to display high sense of professionalism in their call to duty in policing the state and the entire country
He said, “you all must shun corruption and abuse of office. Do not use your uniform to unprofessionally harass civilians, we will not tolerate we will not tolerate. “
The occasion was graced with family and friends of the newly decorated officers with good wishes from them.
