Health Safety: Criminal hideouts, Shanties demolishes in Anambra market.

Anambra government has demolished illegal structures and Shanties at the building materials international market, Ogidi in the north local government area of anambra state.

Operatives of the operation clean and Healthy anambra Brigade have set out in huge numbers on Wednesday.

The managing director, OCHA Brigade, Celestine Anere , said the operation took place in other to clear illegal structures meant to be hoodlums and criminals hideout.

Anere narrated the criminal acts that has been taken place such as disturbing residents and traders from peaceful transaction also kidnapping of innocent citizens a times.

He said the special enforcement team started operation clean anambra on Tuesday, in the market in other to sanitize and clear off illegal structures which will allow the free flow of water through canals as structures were built on waterways and has hindered the drainage system and also project the area for smooth vehicular movements.
