25-year-old, Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke has joined Belgian league champions Royal Antwerp on a year deal from CSKA Moscow.

He spent his last season on loan at Hertha Berlin where he registered three assists in 20 league appearances before the club suffered relegation to German Bundesliga 2.

This was disclosed by the club on its Twitter handle on Monday.

While announcing Ejuke’s signing, the club wrote, ”Nigerian Chidera Ejuke(25) signs a contract for one season with RAFC. Welcome to the Bosuil!

“The attacker, who can play in different positions, comes over from CSKA Moscow. Ejike uses an exception from FIFA for players active in Russia to make the switch to the Bosuil.

“Chidera Ejuka also played football for Valerenga (Norway), Heenrenveen (Netherlands) and Hertha Berlin (Germany).

“Chuka has been a regular face in the Super Eagles’ camp since making his debut in a 1-1 friendly match against Tunisia in 2020.”
