50 Nigerian students to enjoy tuition-free varsity education in Germany

 

About 50 Nigerian students who have completed their pre-degree courses and German Language course at ICIDU in Nigeria will proceed to Germany to complete their undergraduate programmes at professional and academic levels in any of the ICIDU-affiliated higher institutions in Germany, to which they will be posted to based on their disciplines.

The rector of Inselberg-Coast International Deutsche Universitat (ICIDU), Nigeria, located in Oyo and Lagos states, Dr Jackson Osuh, gave the hint on Monday at the maiden graduation ceremony of students at the Ibadan campus of the institution.

Osuh said there are ample academic opportunities for Nigerian students can explore in Germany to receive tuition-free qualitative university education.

He also stressed that the degree certificates obtainable in Germany are acceptable and valued across the globe, and therefore appealed to Nigerian parents to seize the opportunity to avail their children qualitative education in Germany.

The president and chairman, governing council of  ICIDU in Nigeria, Dr  Oluwaseyi Ogunjide, noted that a lot of graduates abound in Nigeria that is not well equipped with modern skills needed for nation-building.

According to him, this informed the establishment of ICIDU in Nigeria, to partner with innovative institutions and reputable universities in Germany to provide admission opportunities for Nigerian students in Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Architecture, Technology, communication science and business.
