42-year-old man arrested for raping nine-year-old daughter in Adamawa

Auwul Shaibu, 42, has been taken into custody by the Adamawa State Police Command on charges of sexually abusing his nine-year-old daughter in the state’s Kabak Mubi South Local Government Area.
 
Additionally, it was learned that Shaibu was detained as a result of a report that his wife, Asmau Isa, submitted after she became suspicious of the occurrence.
 
Yahaya Suleiman, the state police public relations officer, confirmed the occurrence, saying, “I am aware of the incident. He is currently in custody for raping his daughter, and she is a minor. The complaints were made by the mother of the daughter, who happens to be the wife of the man.
 
“On March 12, 2024, the Adamawa State Police Command arrested a 42-year-old man for raping his nine-year-old biological daughter. The incidents occurred in the Kabak Mubi South Local Government Area on March 11, 2024.”
 
The PPRO continued, saying that the suspect admitted to the crime and said that drugs and binge drinking were the reasons behind it.
 
Upon the conclusion of the inquiry, Suleiman stated that the accused rapist would face legal consequences.

“The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, directs a diligent investigation and prosecution of the suspect upon completion of the investigation,” the police spokesperson stated.
