33-yr-old man arrested for theft in Ibadan

A 33 years old man, Abiodun Adeboju has been arrested by the Operatives of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps, (NSCDC) Oyo State command for theft.

The commands public relations officer, DSC Okuneye Oyindamola disclosed this in an interview with news men on Wednesday.

According to her, the suspect was arrested after stealing a mobile phone during the Peoples Democratic Party’s rally held in the State last week.

The PRO warned those involved in criminal act to desist from it because according to her, it will put the suspect in trouble and if found guilty he will face the wrought of the law.

She noted that the State Commandant of NSCDC CC Adaralewa Micheal frowns at such act and necessary actions will be taken on the suspect. This will serve as a deterrent warning for others to shun all forms
of evil vices, she added.

DSC Oyindamola added that the “suspect has confessed to the crime and he will be charged to court, indefinitely”.

“According to the suspect, who was also interviewed attested to the crime and made a conventional statement that truly he was found with the aforementioned phone in his possession, during the party rally where he was caught”, he told the newsmen.
