The National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) has congratulated the Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abdulfatai Ahmed as the consensus Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
The students body in a statement jointly signed by the Acting President Comr. Ibrahim Abdullahi and the National Publicity Secretary Comr. Salihu Ayatullah and made available to this medium today (Friday) described the ticket as a reward to the governor by his party men based on his loyalty.
“On behalf of the entire Kwara State Students, we congratulate our patron and executive governor of Kwara State, Governor AbdulFatai Ahmed as he clinch the People’s Democratic Party ticket for the forthcoming 2019 general election.
“We believe this is a reward for his unalloyed loyalty to his partymen since the inception of this current administration.
The group however urged the state governor on the release of their students bursary.
While wishing the governor success in the upcoming poll, the students urged the him to release of the students bursary.
“we urge the governor to ensure the release of the approved bursary, which we believe will go a long way in renewing the confidence of our student in his government”
Governor Ahmed was recently affirmed by all delegate of the PDP from the seven local government councils of kwara south senatorial district at the zonal primaries held in OmuAran
